Artist's Comments

When a person loses their ability to communicate their feelings - either through circumstance or through their own infirmity - they eventually fall into a state of social irrelevancy. Gradually, that person becomes aware of their own irrelevancy and a feeling called loneliness sets in.

The cure for loneliness, of course, is for someone to care enough to enter that person's world. Ironically, conventional wisdom tells us that needy people are to be avoided - thus perpetuating the cycle.

Very nice comment. Its absolutely true. The only reason why I think conventional wisdom says to keep away from needy people is not because they require much effort, rather, because needy people have been stereotyped to be somewhat mentally challenged - "psychos" and "psychos should be avoided". All they want/need is some attention and their way of showing it or not is just a barrier to overcome. Helping those in need is not a task for everyone though.

Break the cycle! Break it i say.

Well done on the work and the entire series...all deserve favourites :highfive:

Wow, thank you so much for the comments and all the favourites. It is always so great when someone just gets what you are trying to say.

Life is essentially a game. In every game there are winners and losers. The winners, of course, will always set the rules by which the game is played - always giving themselves the advantage. Seldom do they realize that by doing so, they are ultimately diminished as well.
